回复 :阿华（刘德华）是社交舞教师，他舞台上温文尔雅似君子，生活中却是十足的刻薄小人，跳舞对他渐成发家致富的手段，而无其它层面上的意义。阿金（吴君如）是舞会公司普通女侍应，因自知条件平常，虽过着繁忙劳碌的生活却并无怨言。阿华在某名媛舞会上以翩翩风度搭上了名媛Tina（梅艳芳），同时，他的潇洒帅气也吸引了同在舞会上的阿金的目光。翌日，阿金来到阿华任教的 “舞之林”学跳舞，却被阿华当作“肥羊”趁机骗财，阿金虽知他的心思，却也甘心上当，直到一片真心遭遇侮辱才羞怒而去，而此时的阿华，其实已在不知不觉间爱上了这个倔强痴情女子。
