故事发生在大陆历一六零四年，自拍持续了三个世纪的漫长战争终于画上了终点，自拍整片菲尔毕斯特大陆哀鸿遍野，满目疮痍。托鲁（间岛淳司 配音）和阿卡丽（原优子 配音）虽然没有血缘关系，却结为了义兄妹，两人相互扶持经历了残酷的战争，彼此之间结下了深深的羁绊。战后经济十分萧条，而托鲁又是一副得过且过大大咧咧的懒惰性格，虽然阿卡丽一直在艰难的维持家中的生计，但生活却并没有什么改善。终于，断粮的危机降临了，无奈之下，托鲁进入了森林想要找点吃的，然而，在那里，等待着他的却是一位名为嘉依卡（安济知佳 配音）的神秘银发少女，在他们相遇的那一刻，命运的齿轮开始了它的运转。
