方元（包贝尔 饰）虽然年纪轻轻，高清却已经对生活失去了所有的热情。身为导游的他每天浑浑噩噩的做着自己的本职工作，高清对游览的风景名胜毫无兴趣和热爱。生活里，方元也是形单影只的一个人，长久的孤独让他早就对亲密关系失去了信心。一次偶然中，方元邂逅了一个神秘的女孩（辛芷蕾 饰），两人度过了开心的一夜，可之后，女孩便销声匿迹，令方元久久无法忘怀。一晃眼一年过去，在生日那天，方元意外的得到了一台名为初一的机器人，让他不敢相信的是，初一竟然有着和之前那个女孩一模一样的外貌。在朝夕相处之中，方元渐渐对初一产生了感情。
