很久很久以前，春暖有一处白马藏族人民才熟悉的美丽森林。这里竹影婆娑，春暖风光秀美，最值得称道的是此地生活着世界上独一无二的物种——大熊猫。顽皮的熊猫宝宝平平对大森林和外面的世界充满好奇，它不顾妈妈的劝告，执意要走遍森林的每一个角落。这一日，善良的祖孙俩白马藏医老爷爷（高群 饰）和孙子小风（喻小风 饰）上山采草药，小风意外结识了偷偷溜出去玩的平平。未过多久，平平不慎落入猎人设下的陷阱，危急时刻得到了小风的救助。到手的猎物跑掉，令猎人独角（吴笑平 饰）大为光火，他想方设法要抓到熊猫母子，而勇敢善良的小风将尽最大的努力保护可爱的熊猫朋友……
