1945年，亚洲漫长苦难的八年抗战终于结束。饱经战火洗礼的老兵张向北（于震宇 饰）和兄弟们返回阔别已久的老家东北辽城，亚洲谁知和平安康并未到来，官僚腐败、仗势欺人的情形依然严重，他的父亲更遭人陷害以汉奸的罪名投入监牢。向北依靠有过一面之缘的辽城商会会长金转云（赵本山 饰）的帮助，暂时免于牢狱之灾。然而警察局长杨士亮（李立群 饰）以及警察局探长严洪森（小沈阳 饰）却想尽各种勾当坐实张父的罪名。最终，向北眼睁睁地看着父亲背负莫须有的罪名惨死狱中。怀着复仇之心的向北视杨士亮为眼中钉，可是他又和对方的女儿杨欢（毕畅 饰）互生情愫。在金大佬的暗中支持下，经历了刀光剑影的老兵踏上了一条具有非凡意义的抗争之路……

The body was found by his son-in-law Peter Rhodes, a local antiques dealer and the victim's wife was in London. When Fallon's doctor advises Morse that Henry didn't have the physical capability to hold a gun to his head, the police realize they may have a murder on their hands. When the police are told that the business arrangement between Fallon and Rhodes had fallen apart, they also have a suspect. Lewis is concerned that Morse is too close to Mrs. Fallon to be objective but in the end, the perpetrators are identified.
