千鹤（加藤罗莎 饰）是一名再普通不过的都市女白领，免费每天过着枯燥而又重复的生活。当她的事业和爱情最终都以失败告终后，免费千鹤终于厌倦了自己一事无成的人生，她来到了一座位于深山之中的民宿里，决定将这里当成是生命中的最后一站。田村（德井义实 饰）是民宿的主人，一直在这里过着离群索居的生活，虽然有诸多的不便利，但倒也能自给自足。入住当晚，千鹤服下了大量的安眠药，陷入了昏睡之中。哪知道第二天早上，非常美妙的食物香气竟然唤醒了她，千鹤的自杀计划失败了。就这样，千鹤在民宿里暂住了下来，这里美丽的风景，美味的食物和温柔的田村渐渐治愈了她的内心。
