电视动画《加速世界》改编自日本轻小说家川原砾原作的同名轻小说。在2011年10月2日举办的“电撃文库 秋之祭典2011”活动上，视频发表了《加速世界》TV动画化的消息 。电视动画于2012年4月6日开始播放，视频全24话。电视动画的现实舞台是在东京都高圆寺站和神奈川县横浜市MM 21地区。在游戏《加速世界 Stage01 -银翼的觉醒-》（2012年9月13日发售）及《加速世界 Stage www .iav5.com 02 -加速的顶点-》（2013年1月31日发售）的初回限定版则内附了OVA动画，PS3版内附BD版，PSP则内附DVD版。

The youngsters with green hair are not allowed to fly on warblers, not allowed to row alone, and they're not allowed to ride wild frogs at the rodeo. Willy Whistle's big dream is to become a guardian, but his curiosity always gets him into trouble. However, the whole lake becomes at risk when the enemies of the lakeside, the Grimps and the swans, enter into alliance.
