回复 :亚伟（苗侨伟）及妹妹自小被母亲告诫：不得去南洋！两人虽不知因由，却也老实听命。母亲外出期间，妹妹欲与朋友结伴去南洋旅行，亚伟经不住她的几番央求，准她违抗母命，但叮咛一定要戴祖传灵牌，不想她在南洋时嫌灵牌太丑丢于行李箱，结果被蜈蚣群袭，死相惨不忍睹。亚伟赶到南洋为妹妹办理丧事，大学同学亚芝（李殿朗）相陪，过程中他被高人相告已被降王盯上，小心行事之时向母亲追问南洋是一家人禁地的原因。原来亚伟爷爷年轻时曾在南洋犯错，降王誓要报仇，是谓“祖先作孽、后人受灾”。亚伟无恙是因时刻将祖传灵牌戴于脖间。降王屡攻不下，决定下降亚芝。

回复 :据说在1928年，匈牙利导演贝拉·奥特（艾利·罗素 Eli Roth 饰）曾根据一起发生在罗马尼亚的真实事件拍摄过一部恐怖片。但是在拍摄过程中不断出现离奇诡异的事件，奥特最终失踪，影片也从未完成，更没有人看过其中哪怕很少的一部分。好莱坞导演玛库斯·里德（Reshad Strik 饰）多年来不断做着同样的梦，梦中永远是贝拉·奥特和那部传奇影片的场景。他按捺不住创作的欲望，决定带着摄制组来到当年的摄影棚重新制作这部影片。然而从筹划之初便状况不断，有人因此受伤，当年遗失的画面更交叠溶入玛库斯新拍的样片画面中。恐怖的气氛在摄制组内蔓延，玛库斯已经无法回头……本片翻拍自日本导演中田秀夫的成名作《女优灵》。
