市子（筒井真理子 饰）是一名善良的护士，国产观她负责看护的对象，国产观是一位癌症末期的名为塔子的老人。基子（市川实日子 饰）是塔子的女儿，她和家人之间的关系曾经非常的紧张。因为市子的介入和调剂，基子渐渐缓和了亲子关系，并且找到了未来努力的方向，她希望自己能够成为和市子一样温柔而善良的护士。基子的妹妹纱纪（小川未祐 饰）被卷入了一场绑架事件中成为了人质，直到一周之后才被从囚禁中解救出去。让市子没有想到的是，绑架犯不是别人，竟然是自己的侄子辰男（须藤莲 饰）。基子和市子达成了统一意见，决定不将这件事情告诉塔子，但当基子得知市子即将和别人结婚后，嫉妒和愤怒冲昏了头脑，令她做出了无法挽回的举动。
