讲述了民国初年的沙漠之地，影视院青因一场变异兽灾的肆虐，影视院青沙漠住民被迫躲藏黄沙地底，终年如鼠度日。整个沙漠，城镇成焦土，活人不见天，深陷在“缄默求生”的恐惧之中。为寻得求生希望，守住家园故土，沙漠青年们凛然直面“釜山行”式的兽海狂潮，在寂静肃杀的大漠中，与未知异兽展开了一场场生死角逐……
