该片讲述的是：松树吴若和眼镜是从小在一个大院里长大的邻居，松树他们一个胆子大性格豪爽，另一个胆小懦弱但学习优秀，两人是一对形影不离的好朋友。长大后，吴若在父母的帮助下经营一家小店，他疯狂迷恋院子里的女孩孙光蕊。眼镜则一心考试出国留学，因为丢失了准考证，眼镜与父母闹别扭，暂住在吴若的小饭馆里，在众人帮忙下，小本经营的吴若拿到了承办宴席的机会。眼看小店的生意日渐红火，吴若却发现眼镜与孙光蕊之间瞒着自己有着不可告人的秘密，随着他的深入调查，一个更惊人的秘密逐渐浮出水面!
