One day at a time, for instance. In a world ruled by profit and dominated by the exploitation of the weaker ones, the film literally offers an alternative set of ways about how to think our future and the means and tools to work for it. It is not an easy job but, as Taste of Hope carefully and precisely shows, there is still a lot that can be done if we change our relationship to production and labor. Instead of making grand gestures or political statements, the filmmaker works with the camera and with a thoughtful editing in order to understand how to weave together new possibilities of communal existence. The result is a superbly crafted observational exercise. A little manual of self-defense and resistance in the face of a neoliberalism that wishes for workers to keep their heads down. A taste of hope indeed.

回复 :德广押的老板，高义文（夏雨 饰）深受街坊四邻的尊敬，作为当铺老板的他乐于助人，天生一副热心肠，而他最为自豪的是膝下的三个儿女。大儿子高威庭（麦长青 饰）作为视光师已成家立业，和妻子温婉娴（胡定欣 饰）相亲相爱；二女儿高如珠（钟嘉欣 饰）作为警界新人继承了义文的热心肠，爱好打抱不平，和林发（马浚伟 饰）整日斗气；小女儿高如宝（乐瞳 饰）马上要从加拿大学成归来，主修会计的她可谓前途无量。子女都颇争气的义文感到非常幸福。但这时，危机也接踵而来。任职于眼镜店的大儿子遇到了工作危机，可能会失业；和如珠一直很要好的男友有了外人，感情遇到了危机；小女儿如宝原来没有修会计……但有烦心事不见得是坏事，说不定是转机，当旺爸爸的家庭故事就此拉开……

回复 :原来任职ＣＩＤ的王志淙（黄日华 饰）为人正直、胆大心细、屡破奇案；但也有其不好的一面，就是容易冲动、独断独行，多次在行动置上级指示和同伴劝告于不顾。一次，与志淙情同手足的好友兼同事周家祥（李成昌 饰）为了要替好赌的女友还清高利债务，与匪帮勾结策划武装抢劫，案发被志淙亲手缉拿归案。志淙与Ｏ记年轻干探林永泰（陈锦鸿 饰）因行事风格各异而结怨。真是不是冤家不聚头，志淙调入Ｏ记后却无独有偶跟永泰编在了一组。专断独行的志淙与作风保守凡事照章行事的永泰，一开始两人就火光四溅，相互埋怨。但经过一番相处，两人都十分欣赏对方的执着和正义，于是成为了O记里面扑灭罪案的一对最佳拍档。
