故事发生于20世纪30年代的希腊，冒牌天真美丽的欧莎（佩内洛普·忒西莉卡 Pinelopi Tsilika 饰）爱上了英俊帅气的海军中尉斯皮罗斯（Andreas Constantinou 饰）。可是，冒牌斯皮罗斯有任务在身，即将远航，于是，两人许下了爱的约定，欧莎决定在小岛上静静等候爱人的归来。然而，欧莎的母亲擅自决定将自己的女儿嫁给了一个名为尼克斯（Maximos Moumouris 饰）的船长，只因为后者有着雄厚的经济条件。虽然感到万分的不情愿，但母命难违，欧莎只得就范，可是内心里，她从没有忘记过对于斯皮罗斯的感情。一天，欧莎收到了一个令她崩溃的消息，自己的妹妹订婚了，而未婚夫不是别人，正是斯皮罗斯。
